 Cute Programmer is a web drama written by Jiang Yicheng. It is about a cute programmer who gets trapped in a virtual world and has to escape to the real world to find help.

Although it is only a mini-series, it is already selling like crazy online. This is the first show that the famous director cuts his teeth on.The story begins with the main character, Cute Programmer, suddenly gone missing. 

Because of this, his colleague from his previous employer, a well-traveled man called Jiang Xiaoming, suspects that he had an accident and is taken away. In order to get confirmation of this, they set up a conference call to discuss what their findings have been.In the present time, Jiang Xiaoming lives in Beijing. 

He is a software engineer working for several multinational companies and works on high-end computer programs. Cute Programmer is one of his recent projects and he is very excited about it. 

His girlfriend back home is not too sure about it because she thinks it might be just another work project. When he gets his pay, however, she finds out that it was something else.Meanwhile, Cute Programmer's mysterious case continues to unravel. 

His co-worker reveals that there are several people in the World Wide Web that are into similar works as his. It turns out that they were all set to launch a new programming business but when they got caught by the "copies," they immediately disappeared without a trace. 

Their identities were stolen using their identities and the copies ran off with their fortune. To find them, they set out on a voyage of self discovery - and they meet the lovely Cute Programmer.

This Cute Programmer was programmed by his creators to be a loving and caring guy who adores the beauty of life. His job is to program the systems of the various different computer programs that are all over the world. He wants these systems to be compatible with each other and to be on the same level when it comes to compatibility. 

However, when he accidentally bumps into a girl who has been programmed to be a robot, he realizes that he has fallen in love with this girl. Unfortunately, he has no idea how to make her fall in love with him.In order to help Cute Programmer get his girl, the human character named Helen enters his life and falls in love with him instantly. 

The two of them live happily ever after but things do not go exactly as planned. When Helen discovers that her programming has made her a robot, she starts undoing it in order to get what she really deserves in life. 

The TV drama revolves around Cute Programmer and the adventures that he goes through while getting his girl. He even gets to save the day once or twice. It is a great example of how great writing can be when it comes to screenplays and also a great example of how great writers can become when they put their heart into a project.
